Those that know me well know that before I got into animation (at the age of 20 or so) I was keen on becoming a comic book artist. That's what I was working towards and honing my drawing skills for. I love the medium and still read graphic novels regularly. There is so much talent in the field today, it's just wonderful.
This is just a quick sketch I drew years ago, when I needed a break from drawing the characters in Mind me Good Now. I'll still draw in a comic book style now and then. Part of that is to make sure I don't lose that skill set, and it's partly just because I love the medium so much and enjoy drawing in that style.
