Another bit of rough concept art. I'm still working out the visual tone for Peas, and searching for shots that I might flesh out into finished art to use as promotional material. I may pursue this one further, redrawing it with proper perspective and more detail, and spending some real time painting it nicely. It's got potential, with a bit of tweaking.

Thanks, Jay. This is strictly for promotional purposes, for now. Most of my time has been spent on story work (and lots of it), with visual development squeezed in here and there. The storyboard is a ways off yet.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Frankie! Yeah, I'm liking the design more and more as I get a feel for it. It can certainly take a while to "find" your character. As for the colours, this is my first attempt at a piece with a single tone colour palette. I've got a lot to learn, but I like the effect, and I'd love to use it to help get different moods across. Thanks for the feedback!
