Changing gears with Batgirl, Ryan Callahan & co.

I recently had to draw something for a special someone, and I needed to break out of "storyboard mode" before I felt I could freely draw something different.  Here's the random batch of sketches that came of that.

What I ended up with was a few owls, girls, a Batgirl, and Ryan Callahan of the New York Rangers (among other scattered bits).  I'm not especially a Rangers fan (Go Jets!), but Callahan was on screen while I was listening to a brief interview, so I picked up my pencil and sketched him quickly while I listened.
